I've got a Chocolate Fountain!!!

Look at what the girls at work got me as a house warming and thankyou all in one. I was so excited that I just stood there looking at the thing and couldn't believe my eyes! I've pulled it out a few times now and it works a treat. We've found it goes especially well with Kath & Kim...

Been to Europe

As most of you know I've been to Europe - yippee. And just to prove to some of you that I did actually get on a boat (well actually a lot more than one) here's a pic of me on the Rhine River in Germany. Well I'm back in not-so-sunny England and have one week of hols left before going back to school.

I also forgot to mention in my e-mail that a group of us managed to crash a baptism party in Sorrento where there were 2 families celebrating! We got back to the hotel early one night so we decided to go down to the local pub as one of the girls thought she saw a band there (which wasn't there when we got there...) anyway we ended up going to the pub across the road as we thought it was pretty good cause lots of people were there - little did we know they were celebrating a baptism. Anyhoe they were really happy for us to be there and cleared a space for us to sit which happened to be on what looked like a stage. They continued their party with some guy playing a guitar and singing and we joined in with them even though we didn't know the words or what they were saying. Long story short we ended up with our hands on the guitar so we sang them Waltzing Matilda and Coombiyah. They joined in by clapping along but didn't have a clue what we were singing. It was a fun night and here's a photo from the night...

Cadbury World

Anna and I went to Cadbury World in Birmingham on Friday and lets just say it was a very interesting trip... We were given quite a bit of chocolate (including liquid chocolate) and, not wanting to offend, we accepted it and ended up on a bit of a chocolate high. There were hallucinations, oompa loompa's, rides, a chocolate shop, free chocolate and a copper involved, but you know what they say, what happens on tour stays on tour!!

Catch you all later, I now have to do some school work seeing as I've done none all holidays and I go back to school tomorrow.

Well I've had my first English barbie which included the rain! It was for my birthday and of course the rain cleared as soon as it was finished. I think the photos speak a lot for themselves but check out the size of the BBQ - its tiny!

Thanks everyone for the pressies, cards and best wishes for my birthday.

Love to you all,

Jo

Murder Mystery

Hey everyone,

Here's a photo from a murder mystery party I had a few weekends ago. It was a pretty fun night and no the murderer wasn't my cooking! I got to play a millionaire (probably the closest I'm ever going to get) but I had a bit of a weird fascination with fish...

Things here are going well. The kidlets at school are behaving themselves so thats good and I think I've got hols again in another 4 weeks (hee hee, I love being a teacher at times). Other than that I don't really know what else I've been doing but I've been pretty busy doing it...

Take care and will post again soon.
Jo

Here is the photo, didn't do it properly - oops!

Welcome...

Hey everyone,

I thought this would be a cool way for you all to see what I'm up to and to comment on if you wish. I will try to keep it updated and put photos on also. It's Easter Saturday here and I hope that you are all having a good Easter and enjoying the long weekend and the break from work - I know I am...

Here is a photo of Ely Cathedral. I went there on Thursday, it is such a huge cathedral and is so old and nice. I've been wanting to go there and see it for a while because I go past it on the train when I go to Cambridge or London and it just looked amazing.

Chat to you all again soon,
Luv Jo
